Friends of the Tutorial School

A virtual meeting place for alumni, family, and friends of the Tutorial School in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Welcome!

This site is just getting started, and we need your help!

We are trying to reach as many former and current students, relatives, and friends of The Tutorial School as possible. We are trying to develop an organization patterned after the alumni associations for other schools. Our ultimate goal is to help friends of the school connect with each other and to find ways to help the school continue to thrive and grow.

This is what we're trying to do now:

• Develop a database of the names, addresses, and contact information for alumni, families, and friends
• Post the database on this site so that people can use it to reach each other
• Develop a chat room or other discussion forum to talk, share stories, and get reacquainted with eachother
• Discuss ideas for reunions or other get-togethers

And this is what we'd like to do eventually:

• Form a small non-profit fund-raising organization
• Solicit and collect funds to support The Tutorial School
• Develop and maintain a reliable base of individual and organizational support for the school
• Provide a support network for Tutorial School alumni, family, and friends
• Publish a regular newsletter

What you can do now...

1. Send an e-mail to Bain Testa (son of Tutorial School co-founder Richard Testa) at baintesta@yahoo.com, Rose Testa (Richard Testa's daughter) at at rosetesta@hotmail.com, or Paul Lagasse (Class of 1986) at plagasse@avwrites.com and let us know your name, address, e-mail or other contact information, years of attendance/graduation or your connection to the school, and what you've been up to since then.

We'll add your information to the database and make it available to other alumni, family, and friends.

2. Spread the word about this site to other alumni, family, and friends you know, and ask them to contact us. At this stage, the project is driven by word-of-mouth and other informal means!

3. Send us any ideas or suggestions that you have for how this site can serve the members of the school's extended family.
